There is so much to do locally at all times of the year, spectacular scenery, mountains, waterfalls, cascading rivers, canals, horse-drawn boats, steam railways, slate mines, ancient history, industrial history, historic buildings, excellent walks for all ages and fitness and much more besides.

North Wales also has a spectacular coastline and it is all so easily accessible using our hotel as a base.

Do not forget that Llangollen as well as hosting The International Eisteddfod every July is also the festival capital of Wales with events at The Royal Pavilion throughout the year such as the Llangollen Fringe, Gardening Show and Balloon Festival making the Chainbridge Hotel the ideal base.
